Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4133
Chapter 4133
"Let me find a way to help!"
"I can't get that much money..."
"But if I sell everything I have, I can probably get thirty million."
Thomas gritted his teeth, looking determined.
"You don't need to pay interest! Just use it to get by for now."
"I'll think of another way to get more."
"In any case, you can't borrow any money from Idris!"
Mandy froze, but then shook her head.
"I can't take your money, Mr. Burton."
"You'll ruin all your chances for success if you do this! I can't accept it!"
Thomas had a righteous look on his face.
"I'm just repaying kindness with kindness."
"You were the one who helped me get through my predicament before! I can't just turn back on you now!"
"It's settled!"
"Shut your damn mouth!"
"Who even asked for your opinion?!" Jovie snarled, looking deeply annoyed.
"You don't even have enough to buy your own grave, yet you're here trying to save other people?"
"Do you understand just how big Mandy's family is? Your money's just pocket change to her!"
"I'm warning you! If you ruin Mandy's business, I'll settle scores with you sooner or later!"
Thomas turned and glared coldly at Jovie.
"What business?! You're just trying to dig a hole for Mandy to jump in! Maybe you have something to gain for this too..."
Bam!
Before Thomas was done speaking, the door of the box was kicked open.
A group of extravagant-looking men and women walked in soon after.
Fierce men in suits followed behind; they were naturally bodyguards for these newcomers.
The person at the very front was a man clad in a Saint Laurent shirt.
He was wearing golden-framed glasses and had well-kempt hair. He looked quite gentle and polite, but there was an obviously cold and distant glare in his eyes.
He was holding a thin and long cigar in his hand. After blowing a puff of smoke, he pointed at Thomas, who was standing in front of him.
A man in a suit stepped out, and sent Thomas flying with a kick.
Thomas slammed right into a coffee table. Cups and plates shattered all over the floor.
A few women who were doing their makeup screamed in fear, and stumbled out of the place.
Thomas could only see darkness in front of him as he crawled off the ground.
"What's the matter with you people?!" he exclaimed while gritting his teeth.
"Get out of the way," the man with golden-framed glasses said calmly. Then, he walked to the middle of the box.
A man in a suit then set a chair behind him, for him to sit on.
"Young Master Saban?"
Jovie snapped out of her shock and ran forward, almost about to jump right into the man's arms.
"I've been waiting so long for you, Young Master Saban!"
"I'm itching all over just for you!"
"You're so mean! You know I adore you most, right?"
She then scoffed disdainfully.
"This here is Young Master Saban, Idris Saban himself!"
"He only got someone to kick you out of respect!"
"You have no right to talk back to him!"
Thomas froze after hearing Idris's name.
He was boiling with anger, but he knew he had no choice but to endure the humiliation.
After all, he'd be dead if he decided to go against such a powerful figure.
