Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4173
Chapter 4173
"The so-called art of killing has many forms," replied Harvey York immediately.
"Martial arts can kill."
"So can poison."
"Medical skills are no different."
"Geomancy arts are naturally in the same ballpark."
"For example, I can discern exactly where the sources of evil energy are around Mr. Pagan's body."
"When I destroy them as soon as possible..."
"Then, his life will be saved."
"You know where they all are?"
Rodney Foster froze. He clearly did not believe Harvey's words.
He used quite a lot of instruments to figure this out, but there were still more than five different suspected sources.
'He can tell where all the sources are with just a single glance?'
'How is this even possible?'
"If I guess correctly, the sources you suspected are the bead in front of his chest, the diamond ring on his left finger, his coronary stent, his fake tooth, and the nail in his left leg."
"Am I wrong?"
Rodney was utterly shocked.
"You really are impressive, Harvey!"
"I spent so much time trying to ensure all this, yet you got it all down with just a glance!"
Then, he took a deep breath before he looked at Wes and Arlet Pagan with a stern expression.
"Wes, Arlet, I think we should trust Harvey for once."
Kairi Patel, who had been quiet the entire time, finally spoke up.
"That's why I got him here in the first place."
"He was the one who dealt with Kellan Ruiz's situation."
"Kellan?"
Naturally, Kellan was quite a prominent figure. Wes heard about what he had gone through in the past few days.
He wanted to get someone to ask Kellan who he hired to help, yet that man already showed up right before him.
Without a second thought, he stood up straight before arching his hand in front of Harvey.
"Forgive my granddaughter for being this rude. She just doesn't know any better."
"Since you said you have good odds, then I'll leave this up to you."
"It doesn't matter if I live or die."
"If you manage to treat me, I'll give you half of all my riches."
"But if you can't, it doesn't really matter. I only have a few weeks to live anyway."
Wes seemed to be in constant pain. Other than his continuous lack of sleep, he would often be awakened by nightmares.
His spirits were completely crushed. Every day felt like metal clashing in his mind to the point where he often thought of killing himself.
That was why he still doubted Harvey even then.
But compared to Rodney's odds, he was willing to let Harvey help since he was reasonably confident in his abilities.
"You're too kind, Mr. Pagan."
Harvey wanted to leave, but he felt pity as soon as he saw Wes' painful expression on his face.
After all, he seemed like a kind old man.
That said, Arlet was still reluctant to believe Harvey.
"Grandfather, this con man..."
"Ms. Pagan!"
Harvey glared at Arlet coldly before cutting her off.
"If you don't believe me, then why don't we make a bet?"
"If I can't deal with your grandfather's problem, then I'll crawl my way out of here."
"But if I do, I don't want your family's money either."
"I have only one request. You'll be my maid for the next three years."
"You'd wash my clothes, mop my floors, clean my toilets, and call me 'Master' every single day..."
"How about it? Are you down to gamble?"
