Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4176
Chapter 4176
After hearing Harvey York's words and seeing him deal with such a complex problem with ease, Wes Pagan was utterly impressed.
He held his hands together when he said, "Thank you for everything, Sir York!"
"You're my savior!"
"Just ask away if there's anything you need!"
Harvey cracked a smile.
"I don't need anything. Just make sure that Arlet goes through with her end of the bargain."
Then, Harvey hooked his finger in front of Arlet Pagan.
"Come on! Start calling me 'Master'!"
Arlet's face flushed bright red.
Her eyes twitched briefly. She had no choice but to run away since she could not bear to say it.
The crowd smiled while looking at each other. It was quite the feat to make the proud lady of the family run away in shame.
Then, Harvey got the family to send Wes to recuperate.
Harvey then walked around the manor under the butler's guidance to remove some of the antiques.
It would be best if he thoroughly helped the family anyway.
He wanted to make sure that nothing else could trouble the family anymore.
After he was done dealing with the smaller matters, Rodney Foster walked over with shame and hesitation showing on his face.
Harvey wiped his fingers with a smile on his face.
"What is it, Mr. Foster? Do you have a problem with the antiques I'm picking out?"
"Not at all! You have a keen eye!"
"I investigated the antiques that you picked out as well. All of them were recently unearthed, so the evil energy within them is strong!"
"It won't do the manor any good with them here."
"The entire place will be clean when these antiques are gone!"
"Your methods are godly, Sir York!"
Harvey nodded.
"That's good then. Though, I'm afraid we'll have to tell Mr. Pagan about this. Trading of cultural relics is strictly prohibited within the country."
"It'd be better if the government takes them."
"No problem. I'll inform him."
Rodney nodded.
"In reality, the Pagan family specializes in selling and auctioning antiques."
"They love collecting treasures left off by the local folk and literary works. They aren't interested in unearthed antiques at all."
"Wes must've misjudged the antiques."
"That said, your methods and judgment are quite a rare sight!"
Rodney kept complimenting Harvey, as if he was desperately trying to pamper him.
Harvey merely smiled.
"Just tell me what's in your mind, Mr. Foster. No need to hold back."
Rodney froze before he felt a little embarrassed.
"You also have a keen eye, I see. I tried to be a bit careful when I complimented you, but you managed to see through me anyway..."
"Your art of killing has quite a lot of forms!"
"That's why I have a request!"
Rodney felt awkward.
"I don't need anything else, but is it fine if you teach me all you know about geomancy?"
"I can tell that your arts are extremely advanced..."
"Of course, I don't expect you to give that to me for free! I'll pay however much money you ask for..."
