Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4237
Chapter 4237
After being ridiculed by his ex-girlfriend and her group of friends, Thomas Burton could not hold his feelings back any longer despite his good nature.
"Don't you dare cross the line, Sydney Lee!" exclaimed Thomas while showing a cold glare.
"You know just how well I used to treat you! I don't care how you mock me..."
"But if you keep taking advantage of other people, then don't blame me for what happens next..."
"What did you say?!"
Sydney showed a disdainful glare.
"You're just useless trash who fell off! Do you think you're still the Garbage King or something?!"
"You can't tolerate anything! Are you a man or what?!"
"Huh?!"
Thomas did not know how to refute after being relentlessly ridiculed.
Harvey tapped on Thomas' shoulder with a smiley face.
"Alright. Don't run your mouth to despicable people like those. Let's head inside."
"What did you say?!"
"You called us despicable?!"
"Let me tell you something! We're all with rich and wealthy people here!"
Sydney disdainfully glared at Harvey.
"Besides, do you think people like you can eat in a high-class place like this?"
"You must be joking!"
"Are you sure you're not here for work?"
"This is the Golden Sands Hotel! Only members are allowed here!"
"You can't even enter without a membership card!"
The beautiful women showed utter disgust when they looked at Harvey and Thomas.
"Stop pretending already! You look disgusting!"
Sydney pulled out a white membership card before waving it around with a righteous look.
"Let's head inside, sisters. I don't want to be talking to some country bumpkin in a place like this."
"You two should just wait outside. We'll make sure to get you our leftovers for you to fill yourselves up! We're pretty generous people, you know!"
The women laughed their heads off upon hearing that remark.
Sydney even stomped on Harvey's feet as she walked past him.
"Ah! I think I just stepped on you!"
"Did it hurt?"
"You must be as hard as a rock anyway! You'll be fine!"
Harvey glanced at Sydney before pushing her away.
He quickly channeled his energy into her the moment he made physical contact.
"Hmph! Are you trying to cop a feel or something?"
Sydney frowned.
"You're dead!"
"Do you think I'd do that to someone like you?" replied Harvey.
"You don't even have the right for that."
"You!"
Sydney was filled with unbridled rage.
She wanted to slap Harvey in the face, but she was scared off by his cold glare.
She quickly came to her senses while gritting her teeth, wondering why she was even scared of useless filth in the first place.
"Weren't you two coming in?"
"Do it then!"
"We'll see just how impressive you two are!"
A waitress at the door vigilantly stared at Thomas, afraid he would slip inside the hotel with Harvey.
"Enough is enough, Sydney!"
Thomas chuckled.
"Do you think I have nothing?!"
"I've been a member here three years ago!"
Thomas then gave his membership card to the waitress.
She swiped the card before showing an odd expression.
"I'm sorry, Sir. Your card's expired."
