Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4264
Chapter 4264
"Your approval?"
Harvey chuckled.
"You're only selling building supplies, yet you act like you belong in the government!"
"This is way beyond your authority, is it not?"
"How dare you?!"
Mari screeched.
"Don't you know the rules here?"
"Every single renovation and transportation business here belongs to Robbins Supplies!"
"Everyone has to report to us before anything!"
"We'll punish anyone who buys their own materials and renovates on their own!"
"Do you understand me?!"
Mari slammed the table with a righteous look.
"Of course I don't. What does my renovation have to do with you?" Harvey replied.
Mari chuckled coldly.
"Do you really not understand? Or are you just pretending?"
"I'm being as clear as I can!"
"If you're renovating on our turf..."
"Either you buy our building materials and earn our approval before you start working..."
"Or you pay a hundred and fifty-thousand-dollar fine!"
"You choose!"
Mari gestured for a subordinate to hand a price list for building materials.
"Your materials are too expensive! I can buy these for ten times less!"
Harvey said after taking a glance at the list.
"I won't pay for your fine, either."
"Leave. We don't welcome you here."
"Oh? I didn't think that I'd bump into someone this ignorant today!"
Mari laughed again.
"You're not buying materials from us, nor are you paying the fine! Who gave you the courage to do such a thing?"
"Do you understand the consequences you'll have to bear for saying all this?!"
"Maybe you'll tell me instead," Harvey replied, curious to hear what she would say.
"Simple: we'll just raze your place to the ground!"
Mari chuckled, utter disdain in her eyes.
"From now on, don't even think of opening up shop here!"
Harvey smiled.
"What? Are you using force since the talking doesn't work?"
Mari smiled back.
"Enough talk! Either you sign the contract and take our materials..."
"Or you pay the damn fine."
"If you're choosing either, then we'll smash up the entire place right now!"
"Trust me, nothing will happen to me if I do!"
Mari gestured for a subordinate to throw a stack of documents in front of Harvey for him to sign.
At the same time, Mari raised her jaw with a prideful expression, as if convinced Harvey wouldn't dare disobey her.
Bam!
Harvey picked up the documents and tore them into pieces without even reading them.
"Leave while I'm still in a good mood,"
Harvey warned.
Mari's smile froze.
"I'm getting angry, kid!" she exclaimed.
One of her subordinates chuckled coldly after seeing that.
"You're going to die for that!"
He dialed a number soon after.
"I need your help smashing up a place! There's a fool here who doesn't know what's better for him!"
Mari's smile turned a lot colder upon hearing the subordinate's words.
She crossed her arms and glared at Harvey.
"You can still deal with the problem if you bring the money right now. If not, you'll be in deep trouble!"
