Harvey York's Rise to Power Chapter 4265
Chapter 4265
Harvey smiled.
"That's fine. I'm not that experienced, anyway..."
"I'd like to see who'll smash up my place later."
"I'll show you!"
Mari chuckled coldly; she had no intention to force Harvey to make a choice.
The roar of engines were soon heard outside.
An arrogant voice filled the air.
"Which one of you b*stards is taking advantage of my cousin?"
"A lot of people want to die in this day and age, huh?"
Someone kicked open the car door.
"Speak! Who are you?"
"I never go against people without any background!"
A young man in sunglasses strutted out, followed by around eight people behind him.
"Do you know who I am?" the man asked with a cold laugh.
"I belong to the Newgate Chamber of Commerce!"
"My big brother's Kellan Ruiz!"
"You'll suffer a horrible death if you go against him!"
"Hopefully the name scares you. If not, then get ready to die!"
After hearing those words, Mari glared at Harvey and laughed wickedly.
"You're finished! You're definitely finished!"
"Kellan? The Newgate Chamber of Commerce?"
Harvey calmly smiled without even bothering to look at the man.
"Do you want to know my name?"
"It's Harvey York."
Bam!
The man stumbled before falling face-first to the ground.
"Sir...Sir York?!" he exclaimed with a trembling voice after getting back up.
While Mari and her men were showing looks of utter disbelief, the impressive-looking people all slammed their knees to the ground the moment they saw Harvey's face.
The gangsters were as frightened as they were fierce before.
Harvey narrowed his eyes, though he was smiling.
"That's me, alright."
"So, how is the Newgate Chamber of Commerce going to deal with me now?"
"Does Kellan know that you're running around showing off like this?"
"I-I'm sorry, Sir York! I'm really sorry!"
The man in sunglasses desperately tried to be in Harvey's good graces.
"It's a misunderstanding! It's all just a misunderstanding..."
"Misunderstanding ? That you're all here to crush me?"
"It really is just a misunderstanding ! We're not here for something like that..."
"We're here to move building supplies for you. We heard you were renovating here, so..."
"W-We're only here to help..." the man replied with a forced smile.
"Is that so?"
Harvey walked up and took the man's sunglasses off. He was indeed one of Kellan's lackeys.
"Not bad. I didn't think you'd know," Harvey said, tapping the man's face.
"We need renovations for the restroom."
"I'd like you people to clean that up."
"I'll give you food and a place to stay, so remember to do a good job. You get to leave when the restroom is done getting renovated."
"I'll explain the situation to Kellan."
"Do you understand me?"
Harvey smiled while pointing at a public restroom not far away.
The man in sunglasses was on the verge of tears when he saw the foul-smelling, dilapidated restroom.
"Don't you worry, Sir York!" he exclaimed before patting his chest.
"We won't let the Newgate Chamber of Commerce down!"
"Let's go, brothers! Time to clean up the damn place!"
