The woman smiled.

"People like you can never imagine what Mr. Faceless has in store."

"You want to go against someone like him?"

"How naive can you get?"

"You should just give up now. Struggling does you no good, anyway."

"You'll have people joining you soon too. Kairi and the others will kneel."

The woman crouched down, ready to inject Kellan with the needle.

"Try me!"

Kellan's expression changed.

He grabbed a piece of glass on the ground and swung it toward his neck.

He'd rather die than become one of these people's slaves.

The woman quickly kicked the glass out of Kellan's hand.

She stepped on his chest, ready to inject the needle again.

"Sigh..."

A sigh could be heard.

Harvey walked out with his arms crossed.

This had nothing to do with him, but he had no choice but to take action after hearing that Kairi and Evermore would probably get involved in the situation.

The woman and her companions froze when they saw Harvey walk out, and immediately glared coldly at him.

They didn't think that someone would actually show up.

Firearms, crossbows, and blades were immediately pointed in Harvey's direction.

"Who are you?!" the woman demanded.

The people spread out, cutting off Harvey's exits completely, exuding murderous intent.

Kellan was a little glad to see Harvey, but then he came to his senses.

"You need to leave, Sir York! These people are no joke!"

Kellan saw Harvey as a skillful man; nevertheless, the woman and her allies had an extraordinary background and even more terrifying power.

He was worried that Harvey would be caught in their trap.

"Do you know each other?"

The woman squinted at Harvey before smiling.

"Not bad. We couldn't find a chance to make an example out of you, but we'll kill you right here since you've shown up yourself."

Harvey sized up the woman before looking at her with an odd expression.

"Why are you still alive even though your weak spots are all sealed?"

The woman frantically changed her expression.

"How did you know that?"

Harvey ignored her.

He took a deep breath and nodded.

"I got it now. The person who did that to you will give you antidotes every once in a while, preserving you for a month or so."

"But if you don't take the antidote in time, you'll die. All the skin from your body will be peeled off from you."

"It'll be extremely miserable, to say the least."

"That said, the antidote will only delay the problem."

"Not only are you unable to increase your martial arts strength since your weak spots are completely sealed, but you'll gradually become weaker overtime as well."

"You'll turn into a cripple after three to five years!"

Harvey looked, smiling.

"The rest of you are no different!"

The woman and her companions looked at Harvey with shock.
